Great place to sit down and have a drink. Think a mini starbucks. The chill atmosphere where you can be on your laptop is what makes it. They offer smoothies too!

This is probably my favourite coffee shop around!! I love their matcha both hot and cold and it is super cute and cozy and fun to hang out in! I definitely recommend this cafe to anyone and I will be coming back!

Situated below the bike store, this cafe has a welcoming vibe. It offers outdoor curb-side seating in the summer, and lower level indoor tables available year-round. Dog treats by the door for those with fido on the outdoor seating area. Nice sweets, friendly staff and good coffee made this visit really pleasant. Easy parking in this small town, with some cool shops nearby to browse.

Cranky Bear is my go-to coffee spot whenever I’m in Thornbury! I bring friends and family here all the time, too—the drinks are great, the baked goods are always fresh and yummy, and the service is super friendly every time we go. Definitely recommend visiting (it’s great any time of year!), and both the indoor & outdoor seating is great.

A super cute cafe inside and out with a delicious selection of hot & cold drinks and snacks. The lavender latte was exceptional. Service was friendly and efficient. Handy stop for cyclists with a bike rack and an inviting outdoor seating area.

Wow! Now that’s how to serve up an Affogato! Love it! Nothing cranky about the Cranky Bear! Best Main Street patio in town! Situated at the corner on a side street, Louisa St., the traffic is “over there”, not in your face. Lots of parking for cyclists! My girlfriend opted for a bottle of organic beet juice, cold, fresh, and delicious! Me? I couldn’t resist trying out their affogato… accompanied by a ginger molasses cookies, nice and fresh, soft and tasty! The affogato was definitely to come back again for! While the patio was spacious and could accommodate three or four small groups, like the three cyclists across the way, the inside has lots of charm and cute little tables for couples, along with a cozy corner with comfy chairs! Oh! Almost forgot to mention… Storm, my husky-mix loved the patio! She easily found a shady spot to lay in and watch the world go by, and appreciated the water bowl!
